Pamela Thonander was born and raised in Evanston, attending Evanston High School, Kendall College and Florida State University, where she received her Masters in Criminology. She has lived and worked most of her adult life on the North Shore of Chicago and Evanston, first learning Chicago and suburban neighborhoods as a juvenile probation officer. She has sold real estate for 20 years and has had her broker’s license since 1989. Her experience includes building “spec” homes in San Francisco and working as a project manager for a general contractor on the North Shore of Chicago.
