Each of the Lincolnshire - Prairie-View District 103 Schools, Laura B Sprague Elementary (K-2), Half-Day Intermediate (3-4) and Daniel Wright Junior High (5-8) have received the distinguished Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence in Education. The District 103 standardized test scores rank this district in the top 1% in Illinois.

Adlai E. Stevenson High School is the only public high school in Illinois to receive the Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence in Education four times. Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report Magazines have ranked Stevenson among the top 100 high schools in America. Stevenson offers more than 200 courses in mathematics, science, social science, foreign languages and fine arts as well as applied arts, communication arts, and physical welfare.
