For 33 years, Chris Eigel has been a powerful presence in Chicago’s residential real estate marketplace. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. Formerly president of Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate, Mr. Eigel presided over a company with close to $5 billion in sales and more than $100 million in gross commissions. Mr. Eigel and principal partner Michael Pierson's talents were instrumental in growing Koenig & Strey GMAC from 11 to 18 offices, and 525 sales associates to nearly 1200 in just six years. After retiring from Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate in 2006, Mr. Eigel and Mr. Pierson have embarked on a bold new venture to expand the Prudential Preferred Properties brand in Chicago, and steer it to market leadership. Chris and his wife, Carolyn, have lived on the North Shore for nearly 40 years and have three grown children. Their daughter, Amy Eigel Reynolds, is the Assistant Manager of Prudential Preferred Properties' Lincoln Park office, and daughter-in-law Karoline Eigel is the Director of Luxury and Development Marketing. |
Michael Pierson leads Prudential Preferred Properties with more than 20 years of senior management experience in Chicago real estate. With a marketing degree from Purdue University, he gained valuable experience working for Arthur Andersen and IBM Corporation before moving into real estate. He quickly rose to ownership of Seery & Keim Realtors, where he built and managed a $210 million dollar firm. In 2000, he oversaw the organization's acquisition by a nationally recognized company. Then as Executive Vice President, General Manager and Gold Coast Branch Manager for the third-largest residential real estate firm in Chicago, Michael managed operations and growth activities for the leadership of 17 branch offices. He was a key force in creating the company's Development Marketing Division, which had in excess of $1 billion in exclusive listings. He held executive management responsibilities for the marketing of several high profile, large scale developments in Chicago. Michael has been honored with numerous local and national marketing awards, and is a frequent guest lecturer and presenter. His vision as a principal partner in Prudential Preferred Properties includes implementing and expanding the company's unique technology platform and putting it to work for development partners of every size and description.
